1: A program where people of a neighborhood agree to look out for each other and a sign is erected warning criminals who may come into the area. This program runs on the idea that criminals who aren't deterred by the possibility of being shot, beaten up or arrested are deterred by a stupid sign and some window stickers. Furthermore, these people think they need a sign to tell them to call the police if their neighbors are being home invaded.

  * e.g.,  ... The cracked out serial killer will be stopped dead in his tracks by "neighborhood watch" sign on the street Anyone who trusts their families safety to a neighborhood watch sign and not a real method of protection (IE GUN) is sick The neighborhood watch program is void of all logic

1: Neighbors watching you, your house, your kids, your yard... Usually for the benefit of keeping away burglars or "bad guys" from the neighborhood. However in the Rockies can be used to keep neighbors safe from wildlife...
